Alliant is Taking a Fresh Approach to Hiring New Employees

Alliant is taking a fresh approach to hiring new employees - Alliant Insurance Services has announced the promotion of George Close to the position of vice president of benefits for its employee group. The decision to close will take place in Arlington, Virginia.

George is a trusted advisor to clients, he possesses both market insight and analytical thinking that is deep, said Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits. His tactical approach and knowledge of the benefits industry make him invaluable to the Alliant team.

In his new position, Close will design and implement a variety of benefits solutions for employees throughout the Washington, D.C., region.

Close's expertise encompasses benefits, payroll and human resources. He has assisted clients in a variety of industries, and has a reputation for utilizing analytical methods to identify issues and concerns that clients have.

Before joining Alliant, he held the position of vice president of a national insurance brokerage and consulting firm.

In January, Alliant made three high-profile hires in three different states. In November, it elevated Rich Wilson to the position of senior vice president for its group responsible for employee benefits.
