Pamela Anderson details "Borat" film causing Kid Rock to go crazy

Pamela Anderson details "Borat" film causing Kid Rock to go crazy - Pamela Anderson recounts her relationship with Kid Rock, also known as Bob Ritchie, in an excerpt from her memoir Love, Pamela. The couple lived in Detroit and surrounded themselves with musicians and friends, enjoying the rock-and-roll lifestyle. Despite their differences, Anderson would often return to Bob after being convinced by music industry legend Ahmet Ertegun.

They moved to a house in Malibu, but things took a turn at the premiere of the film Borat. Anderson had a role in the film and surprised Bob with it at the screening. The reference to a "sex tape" in the film caused Bob to storm out, calling Anderson names and embarrassing her in front of industry leaders such as Steven Spielberg and Laird Hamilton. The couple broke up after the incident.

Anderson later presented an award at the MTV Video Music Awards, where she saw Bob on the red carpet and sat on Tommy Lee's lap, causing Bob to become angry and start a fight with Tommy that was broadcast live on TV. Anderson walked out of the event and described it as a setup by MTV.

Throughout her experience with Bob, Anderson learned that a man's ability to sing and play a song can often sway a woman's emotions, but she also realized that it's important to stand up for herself and not let herself be caught in a cycle of apologies and forgiveness.
